Color: impenetrable ruby red 

Bouquet: Served in a large glass or in a decanter, the wine emanates scents of sweet wood and caramel followed by fine tobacco. A blend of ripe berries and griotte cherries  lead the way for a cinnamon and chocolate finish. 

Palate: This is a big wine, strong on the palate with distinct and ripe tannins. The characteristic acidity of teran wine balances the warmth in the mouth. The olfactory notes are echoed on the palate – griotte cherries enveloped in chocolate with hints of cinnamon. The long finale leaves traces of herbs, as an invitation for another sip.  

Food pairing: Roast boškarin beef or shank, pasta with venison sauce, tagliata and mature cheeses pair beautifully with this wine
